Commercial lease dispute:

Investment property dispute:

As a real estate broker, property manager, and investor with over $100 million worth of real estate transactions in the Los Angeles area— Valerie Li is who I turn to for legal real estate advice and negotiation for transactional and legal matters. My group has known Valerie for years and she has always provided us with practical real estate advice, in service of the fact that the client’s ultimate goals are to resolve an issue or complete the transaction as efficiently as possible — and most importantly, to protect their return on investment.

There are many examples I can think of, but one in particular stands out to me.  We owned a property with a partner in the Highland Park area of Los Angeles.  There was a property line dispute with our neighbor.  When we initially reached out, the neighbor was not amenable to giving us an easement.  We reached out to Valerie for her advice with the thought we may have to go to litigation.  Valerie immediately was able to analyze the situation and figure out exactly the type of easement that we needed.  She was then able to get the neighbor to agree to sign off on the easement, working through some very difficult issues with the opposing counsel.  We were thrilled with this result and not having to go to court! – W.T.
